As the first champion in the history of F4 Brazil, Pedro Clerot completed his first two days of pre-season testing for Formula 3 at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, and he approved the experience accumulated with the Rodin team.
“Today we focused most of the day on racing pace. We sacrificed a little bit of our qualifying performance, but it was two good days. We are testing many things, we were able to conclude all of our test programs, all of our test ideas. The most important thing was that we were able to complete everything, so it has been positive,” says Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.
Fourth-placed in the 2025 FRECA season with two wins and seven podiums achieved, Clerot drove the F3 car for the first time still at the end of 2025. The Brazilian believes that the information obtained in these three days in Spain will be fundamental for the continuity of the car’s development for the championship opening.
“I’m really adapting to the car again. Of course, we still have some things to work on and improve, but we’re definitely on the right path. We have one more day tomorrow to really finalize things before Melbourne, so I’m confident about our sequence of work,” says Clerot, who finished the afternoon session on Tuesday in 11th place.
Thursday is expected to bring two more F3 test sessions in Barcelona. The season will be opened on March 7 and 8 in Australia.
