NASCAR Brasil held Thursday night (the 30th) the first practice for the Cuiabá round (MT), contested on the outer loop of the Cuiabá International Raceway. Felipe Tozzo was the fastest in the session, posting a lap of 59.092 seconds, leading a tightly contested session.
Tito Giaffone finished in second place by recording 59.172 seconds, followed by Galid Osman in third with 59.266. Denis Navarro ended fourth with a time of 59.304, while Nicolas Costa completed the group of the five fastest by turning a 59.356-second lap.
Arthur Gama fechou a sessão na sexta posição com 59s463. Murilo Rocha apareceu em sétimo com 59s609, seguido por Vitor Genz, oitavo colocado ao marcar 59s654. Gui Backes garantiu o nono melhor tempo com 59s670, enquanto Dudes Castroneves completou o top-10 ao registrar 59s715.
A programação da NASCAR Brasil em Cuiabá segue nesta sexta-feira (31) com o segundo treino livre. Na sequência, os pilotos disputam a classificação e a Sprint Race, prova que define o pole position da etapa para as corridas principais da Night Challenge.
