The NASCAR Brasil 2025 calendar has a historic moment in store between September 19 and 21, when the Circuito dos Cristais in Curvelo, Minas Gerais, will host the seventh stage of the season. The oval track of the Minas Gerais autodrome will be the scene of the first Special Edition (#Ovaltrack) test and an unprecedented race on Sunday, with 100 laps or 53 minutes plus one lap, an exclusive format in national motorsport.
Inspired by the tracks of the American NASCAR, the Curvelo Oval is currently the only 100% oval circuit in operation in Brazil. The track is 1,250 meters long (3/4 of a mile), designed to provide intense disputes and great interaction with the public.
Among the technical highlights, the track features differentiated curves, including one with a 16% superelevation, in international molds, and another leveled with an asphalted escape area and a box of grit. This combination increases the possibilities of overtaking and competitiveness between the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang cars that make up the NASCAR Brasil Series grid.
Safety was also a priority in the development of the track. The circuit is short and fast, with laps under 30 seconds, requiring maximum attention from the drivers and a complete rescue structure, medical team, safety car, medical car, firefighters, and strategically positioned defenses.
In addition to the sporting challenge, the stage in Curvelo was designed to offer a complete experience to the public. The autodrome will have grandstands, food areas, grandstands, and fields prepared to receive thousands of fans, in addition to parallel attractions during the weekend.
With this innovative format and a circuit of unique characteristics, NASCAR Brasil reinforces its commitment to bringing the experience of Brazilian fans closer to what is most authentic in international motorsport.
The NASCAR Brasil Series has the sponsorship of Petrobras, Karter, Pirelli, Frum, and official suppliers Militec1, Servitec, Nano4you, Tecpads, Sparco, Zanoello, and Graxa. Competition manufacturers: Chevrolet and Ford.
