The NASCAR Brasil Series stage at Velocitta Circuit in Mogi Guaçu (SP) began with a high level of competition. In the first practice, held on Friday afternoon (26), Thiago Camilo led the timing charts, with a gap of only 0.633 seconds separating the top seven in the order.
Camilo logged 1min38s384 on his best of five laps. It’s worth noting that a maximum of 18 laps per car is allowed in the session. Galid Osman followed closely with 1min38s692, ahead of Arthur Gama, who was only 0s082 slower. The fourth quickest time belonged to Victor Andrade, 1min38s814. The gap to the fifth-placed Denis Navarro was merely 0s013.

Vitor Genz closed the day with a 1min38s927 on the clock. Ricardo Zonta stopped at 1min39s007. Gui Backes clocked 1min39s0017 and finished in eighth place. The ninth position went to Firas Fahs, making his NASCAR Brasil debut at this round. He recorded 1min39s480. The top-10 was completed by rookie Murilo Rocha, at 1min39s525.
The NASCAR Brasil continues its Velocitta round, the fourth of the 2026 season, on Saturday with another practice and the qualifying session. In addition to the time trial, the six best-placed drivers will take part in a sprint race to determine the pole position for the round. The short race will be streamed on the category’s YouTube channel.
