The NASCAR Brasil series has unveiled the first details of its 2026 calendar, which will feature one of the most significant changes in the category’s history: four stages will be held on ovals or external tracks in Curvelo (MG), Cuiabá (MT), Brasília (DF), and Goiânia (GO). The season will also mark the debut of the playoff system, which redefines the final stretch of the championship and promises to amplify the title dispute.
With 21 races distributed across nine stages, the championship reinforces its proposal of diversity in tracks and continues to expand. All events will be held with the new car of the category, the RiSE26. The season begins on March 15 and ends on November 29 at the Autódromo de Brasília, which makes its debut and will already host the final decision.
Interlagos will be the stage for the third stage, maintaining its traditional role in the history of the category, while Chapecó appears for the first time on the NASCAR Brasil calendar. The Curvelo oval returns to figure among the most anticipated events, as does Goiânia, while Cuiabá and Brasília debut their unprecedented external tracks.
“The next season will be even more intense, with races on ovals and the new playoff format, which promises to make the title dispute more exciting than ever. It will be a year filled with speed, challenges, and great moments, including the new venues,” says Thiago Marques, representative of NASCAR Brasil.
Details of special stages, extra attractions, and complete rules of the playoff system will be released later. Drivers will be able to compete individually or in pairs, and six stages will be held in conjunction with the Copa Truck.
