Jorge Martín clinched pole position on Saturday (the 8th) for the England Grand Prix, the 12th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the closing moments of the qualifying held at the Silverstone circuit, the Aprilia rider posted a lap of 1:56.160, securing the top spot for both the Sprint this afternoon and the main race scheduled for Sunday.
The second position went to Raúl Fernández, the Trackhouse Aprilia rider who was 0.021 seconds behind the championship leader. Ai Ogura, Fernández’s teammate and second in the points standings, completes the front row in third place. Fabio Di Giannantonio starts fourth aboard a VR46 Ducati, followed by Marco Bezzecchi in fifth with the Aprilia, and Marc Márquez, who closes the top six on a Ducati.

Álex Márquez will start seventh on a Gresini Ducati, opening a third row that also includes Franco Morbidelli, who advanced from Q1 and races with a VR46 Ducati, and Pedro Acosta, ninth on the KTM. Iker Lecuona, aboard a Gresini Ducati, was the tenth fastest, with Jack Miller, a Pramac rider, the satellite team of Yamaha, in 11th. Joan Mir, on a Honda, completes the list of the 12 fastest on the grid.
Among the riders who did not advance to the classification round, Fabio Quartararo will start from 13th position on the Yamaha, while Diogo Moreira, the Brazilian rider for LCR Honda, starts 14th. Francesco Bagnaia had his worst starting position of the year and will begin the races from 16th place aboard a Ducati.
Also on Saturday, starting at noon, the Sprint will take place. The England MotoGP Grand Prix is set to start at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday.
