Formula 1 will determine the starting grid for the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix this Saturday, June 27. The qualifying will be held at the Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg, and it starts at 11:00 a.m. Brasília time.
Before the fight for pole position, the drivers will also have FP3, scheduled for 07:30. The session will be the last opportunity for teams to tune the cars before qualifying, on a short, fast track known for very small differences among the competitors.
Qualifying tends to be especially important in Austria, since the Red Bull Ring often leaves the field tightly packed. With low lap times, any mistake can cost valuable positions on the starting grid.
After the pole position is decided, the Austrian Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, June 28, with a start time set for 10:00 a.m., Brasília time.
