The Playoff system makes its debut in NASCAR Brasil in 2026 and will be the main element in defining the champion of the season. The decisive phase was created to increase competitiveness and keep the contest open until the final race, without eliminating drivers during the process.
The Playoff takes place at stages 8 and 9 of the championship, but all competitors remain eligible to score points until the last race of the year. This means that no one is eliminated, even after the start of the decisive phase.
At the end of the seventh stage, the top 12 in the regular championship receive a 20-point bonus to start the Playoff. This addition serves as an initial advantage in the title pursuit.

After the eighth stage, the scoring system undergoes a further adjustment: the six best classified now receive an additional 10 points, which will be carried to the Grand Final.
Another important change is the suspension of the success ballast during the Playoffs. As a result, the cars are more technically balanced, reducing performance penalties and increasing direct on-track competition.

The format is designed to reward consistency throughout the season as well as performance in the decisive rounds, making the championship more balanced and unpredictable until the end.
