Ugo Ugochukwu won this Saturday (the 3rd) the Sprint that opened the fifth round of the 2026 Formula 3 season, held at the Silverstone Circuit in England. The Campos Racing driver lined up on pole, aided by the reverse grid among the top 12 qualifiers, and remained at the front throughout the 18 laps, securing the victory.
The second position landed in the hands of Yevan David, a driver for AIX Racing who withstood the pressure from rivals in the latter half of the race to secure his first career podium. Theophile Nael, of Campos Racing, completed the podium with third place after passing Matteo de Palo on the final corner of the last lap, leaving the Trident driver in fourth, followed by Noah Stromsted, his teammate.

Maciej Gladysz, driving for ART Grand Prix, concluded the race in sixth place, ahead of Freddie Slater, the championship’s vice-leader and seventh with Trident. Louis Sharp crossed the finish line in eighth with Prema, just in front of Fionn McLaughlin, ninth with Hitech. James Wharton, who had been contesting podium positions, finished tenth with Prema.
The Brazilians had a weekend to forget. Pedro Clerot completed the sprint race in 20th place after starting 21st in a Rodin Motorsport car. Fernando Barrichello, known as Fefo, finished 25th in an AIX Racing car.
The race that closes the England round of Formula 3 is scheduled for Sunday, with a start at 4:25 local time.
