F3: Pedro Clerot Secures Fourth in Austria After Sprint Podium, Advances in the Championship Standings

June 28, 2026

The Brazilian Pedro Clerot had his best weekend of the season, which marks his debut in Formula 3. After earning a podium spot with second place in the Sprint race, the Rodin Motorsport driver clinched a fourth-place finish in the main race of the Austrian round, held this Sunday (28) at the Red Bull Ring.

The driver of car number 17 showed resilience throughout the 26 laps of the race. After starting from tenth, Clerot quickly moved up to eighth, a position he held for most of the duration. In the closing laps of one of the most eventful races, the Brazilian took advantage on the same lap to pass four rivals, advancing to fourth place where he finished the race.

“We had a good race today. Starting from tenth and being the only top-10 car without fresh tires, since we chose to use them yesterday. And even so we finished fourth. I had a lot of patience during the race, because I knew we had pace. And it was very much about taking care of the tires to know the right moment to attack,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

“I think I managed the tires very well and was able to strike at the right moment. I passed five cars in three corners, so it was the right move. I’m very happy because the car was running extremely well. I scored 23 points over the weekend; there was no better outcome than that. It was a good weekend,” the driver added.

After Formula 3’s stop in Austria, Clerot now sits seventh in the championship after four rounds, accumulating 38 points. The first ever F4 Brasil champion now has two podium finishes this year, three top-5 results, and five top-10 finishes.
