F3: After Sprint Podium, Pedro Clerot Leaves Spa in Top-10 of the Championship

July 19, 2026

A rookie in Formula 3 in 2026, Pedro Clerot stood on the podium in the Sprint race held this Saturday at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, and he remains in the top-10 of the championship with Rodin after Sunday’s race. The Brazilian driver started seventh in this longer race, but faced major challenges from the very first lap and finished in 14th place.

“It was a tough day for us today. Problems at the start and touches on the first lap knocked us out of the points. Hard to accept days like this, especially after a podium on Saturday. We know we have pace, so I remain confident that our time will come,” Clerot said, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

Besides the third place in Spa, Clerot has achieved another two podiums this season, with a runner-up finish in Austria and a third place in Monaco.

The Brasília-born driver has accumulated 48 points across six rounds, with three rounds remaining. The championship remains highly competitive, and the Brazilian sits 10th in the standings, yet only ten points behind the fourth-placed driver.

The next round of F3 will be contested this coming weekend at the Hungaroring in Hungary, featuring two more races.
