Gabriel Bortoleto showed optimism for the Dutch Grand Prix of Formula 1 after qualifying on Saturday (22). The Brazilian said he believes a fight for points is possible.
Zandvoort has served as the stage for the resumption of the 2026 season, and the weekend arrives in Sprint format. In the earlier race, the Brazilian finished in ninth place, and in qualifying he secured the same starting position, coming from the fifth row.
Therefore, evaluating both the pace in the battle and the performance in qualifying, the Audi driver believes that a top-10 in Formula 1 in the Netherlands is an achievable goal. “I think today’s Sprint race showed that we have good pace, even though the front Alpine had fresh tires,” he told SporTV.

“We had a good start, so if tomorrow we can replicate that and keep it there, or even gain a position at the start, ahead of Lawson, I think it will be an interesting race that we can fight for points,” he continued.
“So, let’s see, tonight we’ll focus; the day isn’t over yet, now we have to figure out what to do tomorrow, strategy, the best possible scenario, when to pit and when not to, and then we’ll see,” he concluded.
