The MotoGP grid for the 2027 season is now set. Following the announcements of Brazilian Diogo Moreira with the official Honda team and the arrival of Colombian David Alonso at LCR, all 11 teams on the grid have now revealed their rider duos for next year’s championship, when a new generation of motorcycles, now 850cc, will be used.
It draws attention that all 11 teams have swapped at least one of their riders compared to this year’s championship. Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Gresini, VR46, and Tech3 replaced both riders. The positions held this year remain for Marco Bezzecchi at Aprilia, Marc Márquez at Ducati, Johann Zarco at LCR, Toprak Razgatlioglu at Pramac, and Raúl Fernández at Trackhouse.

The grid will also feature four riders coming from Moto2 next year. They are Daniel Holgado, at Gresini, David Alonso, at LCR, Izán Guevara, at Pramac, and Senna Agius, at Tech3. In addition, the World Superbike champion Nicolo Bulega joins the grid, which already includes Razgatlioglu, who also came from the planet’s premier production motorcycle championship.
Among the season’s highlights, Jorge Martín will move to defend Yamaha, leaving Aprilia, which will add Francesco Bagnaia, coming from Ducati. The Italian squad also brought Pedro Acosta, who will depart KTM, a team that will feature Álex Márquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio. In addition, Fabio Quartararo will swap Yamaha for Honda, while Ai Ogura moves to the Yamaha camp.
