Carlos Col Discusses NASCAR Brazil’s Attractiveness to Pilots: “Open Arms to Welcome Them”

October 15, 2025

Introduction to NASCAR Brasil

Carlos Col views NASCAR Brasil as a platform that has become interesting for pilots to compete professionally. In the eyes of the executive, what is offered by the category ends up attracting the big names in the sport.

The championship, which was born as Sprint Race, has been associated with NASCAR since the 2023 season. By 2025, it already has more than 20 competitors on the grid and names like Thiago Camilo, Gabriel Casagrande, Cacá Bueno, and Rubens Barrichello.

And for Col, the interest of big names in Brazilian motorsport is due to the platform that the category offers, as he told F1MANIA.NET exclusively.

“Our work with NASCAR is to add to Brazilian motorsport, to offer new job opportunities for professional pilots, to offer more activation platforms for sponsors, both in terms of brand visibility, B2B, relationship, and experience,” he explained.

“And, obviously, to bring families to the autodromes to have an interesting weekend of entertainment. And obviously, all this has attracted new pilots, or new professional pilots to NASCAR Brasil, and we are here with open arms to welcome them,” he concluded.
