October 15, 2026

Gabriel Bortoleto welcomed Rafael Câmara to Formula 1. With the announcement of the driver joining Haas from the 2027 season, the Audi driver took the opportunity to post a brief message.

The rumors of the Pernambuco-born driver’s rise had been swirling around the paddock for several months. Then, after a pre-season car test with the American team in Portimão in August, where Rafa delivered a strong performance, the whispers grew even louder.

Bortoleto, then, who will be entering his third year in the pack next year, took the opportunity to send a brief message to his fellow Brazilian and teammate. The driver shared a post from his own F1 profile and wrote “Welcome to Formula 1, Rafa. We’ll do our best to represent our Brazil [placed a Brazilian flag emoji].”
