NASCAR Brasil arrives this weekend at its penultimate round of the 2026 season, set on the oval circuit of the new Chapecó International Autodrome (SC). The driver for Full Time Sports, Tito Giaffone, heads into the event that inaugurates the Santa Catarina circuit, aiming for top positions to climb in the Challenge class standings.
It will be the third round of the year on an oval layout or external ring configuration in the current season. The track in inland Santa Catarina measures 1,452 meters and runs clockwise, something that is not commonly seen on this type of circuit, and Tito highlights the importance of practice to fight at the front in both the standings and the races.

“We’re heading to a new track, so this underlines the importance of training to adapt to the circuit. It will be vital to secure a good starting position so we can fight at the front in the races and collect solid points for the championship,” said Tito Giaffone, who is backed by PX.
The NASCAR Brasil activities in Chapecó will open on Friday, with the shakedown and the first free practice. The second practice takes place on Saturday, while qualifying is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. The races are scheduled for 9:00, 14:05 and 14:30. SBT will broadcast the morning race, while ESPN will show the afternoon battles. YouTube will stream all three races.
