Just over a month after the conclusion of the 2026 Formula 3 season, Pedro Clerot returned to piloting a car from the category, which is hosting between Tuesday and Wednesday the first of two post-season test sessions. The Brazilian, who remains with Rodin Motorsport for next year’s championship, finished close to the top 10 in both sessions held at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit in Spain.
In the session that opened the day in Spain, the driver of car number 17 posted the 11th-best time, 0.002 seconds behind the time of the tenth-placed. In the session that closed Tuesday’s testing, the Brazilian again finished in 11th place, once again less than a tenth of a second behind the group of the ten fastest. Clerot celebrated the return to activities with the first post-season test battery.

“We got back into the car today in Jerez and I felt a good sensation during both sessions. We hadn’t driven since the last round, in Madrid, and I’m happy to be back at the wheel after a few weeks off. Tomorrow we have another day of activities and next week we will go to Barcelona for another two-day testing battery,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.
The first champion in the history of F4 Brazil, Clerot debuted in Formula 3 this year with Rodin Motorsport, and showed progress throughout the season. With a campaign that earned him one victory, achieved in Madrid, and five podiums, the driver from Brasília (DF) finished the championship in sixth place, tied on points with the fifth-placed.
The first post-season testing round of Formula 3 will be wrapped up this Wednesday in Jerez. Next week, the category will conduct two more days of activities at the Circuit de Barcelona, on October 26 and 27, closing the year 2026.
