Rafael Câmara won this Saturday (26) the second main race of the 12th round of the 2026 Formula 2 season, held on the street circuit laid out in the streets of Baku, Azerbaijan. The Invicta Racing driver started from third and even led after the pit stops, briefly being overtaken by Alexander Dunne. However, the Rodin Motorsport driver received a five-second penalty for crossing the pit-entry line, and the Brazilian claimed the victory.
The runner-up was Nikola Tsolov, Campos Racing driver who started eleventh and fought his way back to finish just behind the Invicta driver. Dunne, in the Rodin car, completed the podium despite the penalty. Martinius Stenshorne, in the other Rodin, finished fourth, while Laurens van Hoepen of Trident completed the top five.
Mari Boya levou a Prema à sexta posição, sendo seguido por Dino Beganovic, em sétimo com um carro da DAMS. Noel León, da Campos Racing, fechou a disputa em oitavo, enquanto Gabriele Mini, da MP Motorsport, foi o nono. Roman Bilinski, da DAMS, completou a zona de pontuação na décima posição. Emmo Fittipaldi, da AIX Racing, terminou em 16º.
A corrida teve entradas do Safety Car. Logo na primeira volta, John Bennett ficou parado na pista com o carro da Trident após rodar depois de um toque de Rafael Villagómez, causando a neutralização. Na sexta volta, Ritomo Miyata parou no traçado com a Hitech, e o Safety Car Virtual foi acionado um giro depois. Na nona volta, foi a vez de Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak ter problemas com a ART Grand Prix, com novo acionamento do Safety Car Virtual.
