The Spanish rider Brian Uriarte clinched pole position for the Austrian GP, the 15th round of the 2026 Moto3 season, this Saturday the 19th. In the final phase of qualifying held at the Red Bull Ring, the Ajo rider posted his best lap of 1min39s544, achieved in the closing moments, earning the pole for the race scheduled for Sunday.
Second place went to David Almansa, Intact GP rider who was edged by Uriarte by 0s064. The front row will also feature Álvaro Carpe, on the other Ajo bike. The championship leader, Máximo Quiles, will start fourth aboard an Aspar bike, sharing the second row with Matteo Bertelle of MTA and Scott Ogden of CIP.

The Austrian Moto3 Grand Prix will be contested on Sunday, with a start scheduled for 6:00 a.m.
