Galid Osman arrives at Circuito dos Cristais with a positive memory: it was on the Curvelo oval that the Cavaleiro Sports driver sealed the victory in last year’s NASCAR Brasil Series stage. Now, he returns to Curvelo with the mission of once again securing a solid result and, above all, guaranteeing his place among the top 12 in the championship.
The seventh round, scheduled for September 19 and 20, marks the end of the regular season and puts 75 points up for grabs, distributed between the qualifying session and the two races. By the end of the weekend, the top 12 in the standings still receive a 20-point playoff bonus.
Osman hopes to leverage his familiarity with the circuit to return to the podium’s top step.

“The expectation is very good. I hope to repeat the victory we had there last year. The focus is to stay among the top 12 to keep the title chances alive. I want to repeat the victory we achieved on this track last year,” Galid notes.
The playoff qualification battle promises to be tight in Curvelo. Jorge Martelli sits in 13th place with 47 points, followed by Gui Backes with 44 and Felipe Tozzo with 41. The trio are separated by only six points and arrive at the stage still with chances to crack into the classification zone.
