Tuesday in Formula 1 featured a Brazilian in the spotlight on the track. Rafael Câmara took part in a test with Ferrari in Imola, driving the SF-25 from 2025 and logging roughly 200 kilometers between quick-lap simulations and race-pace runs. The Formula 2 driver continues to be pointed to as one of the names who could make it onto the F1 grid in 2027.
Another important topic was the situation of Isack Hadjar. The French driver is still recovering from the wrist injury suffered during the holidays and there is no guaranteed return for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Laurent Mekies stated that Red Bull will conduct a new assessment before placing him in the simulator and stressed that the team does not intend to accelerate the process if the driver is not yet close to 100%.

In the aftermath of the Spain GP, Lewis Hamilton returned to the spotlight after a retirement caused by brake issues. The result ended the longest streak of points-scoring finishes in 2026, as the Ferrari driver had finished in the top 10 in all 13 previous rounds. Lando Norris now holds the longest active streak, with eight races scoring points.
The Mercedes team also detailed the strategy that allowed George Russell to make two stops in Madrid. The team explained that the Virtual Safety Car appeared at a poor moment for the original plan with Hard tires, and decided to place the Briton on a different strategy than Charles Leclerc. Russell finished fifth, just 0.7 seconds behind Ferrari.
Away from the track, Ayrton Senna also gained prominence. Only ten life-size replicas of the 1985 Lotus 97T will be produced in a project between Memento Exclusives and Classic Team Lotus, utilizing drawings, documents, and techniques directly tied to the original car.

For Brazilian audiences, ticket sales for the São Paulo GP F1 Fan Zone also got underway. The space will be open throughout the three days of the event at Interlagos, with João Gomes confirmed for Friday and Paralamas do Sucesso on Saturday, in addition to activities with drivers, simulators, and live broadcasting of the sessions on a big screen.
