Thiago Camilo won Race 1 of the sixth round of NASCAR Brasil’s 2026 season. On the morning of this Sunday (23), the Full Time driver took advantage of his pole position to deliver a steady performance, remaining at the front at all times. Here is how the race unfolded at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Londrina (PR):
The start was released and Thiago Camilo kept the lead. Ricardo Mauricio overtook Gabriel Casagrande and moved into second place in the race.

The race went on with few overtakes in the following minutes. Vitor Genz eventually went off the track and dropped from mid-pack to the last place. Gustavo Bandeira spun on the track and damaged his car, but the incident did not stop the race.
With 12 minutes to go, Mauricio managed to close in even more on Camilo, forcing the first defense by the race leader. However, the advances were halted after Ricardo Zonta’s car encountered problems and a safety car was deployed.
The restart occurred with four minutes left on the clock. Camilo again managed to hold his position, while Mauricio had to defend against Casagrande. Cacá Bueno secured seventh, while Galid Osman, Arthur Gama and Dudes Castroneves gained positions in the middle of the pack. Tito Giaffone managed to climb two spots.
Martelli battled with Murilo Rocha and moved up to sixth. Shortly after, Tito Giaffone and Denis Navarro went off the track during a tighter duel. They managed to rejoin. Galid Osman also left the track quickly and lost several positions.
On the final lap, Nicolas Costa had to retire. Camilo faced pressure from Mauricio, but defended well and captured the victory. Casagrande completed the podium. In the Challenge class, Gui Backes was the winner.
Race 2 takes place still on this Sunday, starting at 2:00 PM.
