F1: Lance Stroll Spotted Driving Rare Aston Martin DBR22 in Monaco

August 15, 2026

Lance Stroll has been making the most of the Formula 1 summer break. In fact, the Aston Martin driver was spotted on the streets of Monaco behind the wheel of a rare supercar, the DBR22, valued at around £2 million.

First unveiled in 2022, the British automaker’s car model was created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Q division, dedicated to bespoke projects. The design was heavily inspired by the legendary DBR1, one of the brand’s most iconic cars – which claimed victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959.

The DBR22 model also packs impressive performance figures, with a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine delivering 705 hp. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 319 km/h.

Worldwide, Aston Martin produced only 22 units of the DBR22, a status of extreme rarity. Therefore, Stroll is in a highly select group of the model’s owners.
