Scott Ogden clinched pole position for the British Grand Prix, the 12th round of the 2026 Moto3 season. In the final phase of qualifying held this Saturday (8) at the Silverstone circuit, the rider aboard the CIP bike number 19 posted a 2:09.126 on his last fast lap and secured his first pole position of the year.
Second place went to Adrian Cruces, who was ultimately 0.274 seconds behind Ogden, his teammate. Valentín Perrone, riding a Tech3 bike, completes the front row of the grid. David Almansa, who had been on pole up to the final moments, starts fourth with Intact GP, just ahead of Álvaro Carpe, fifth with Ajo. Adrian Fernández, from Leopard, rounds out the top six.
Brian Uriarte, the rider defending Ajo, starts seventh, opening the third row of the grid that also includes Cormac Buchanan, of CODE Motorsports, and Hakim Danish, ninth with MSI. Joel Kelso, from GRYD, starts tenth, followed by Máximo Quiles, 11th with Aspar. Completing the group of the top 12 is Ryusei Yamanaka, aboard an MSI bike.
The session featured a heavy crash by Quiles, who tumbled with just over three minutes remaining in qualifying. The championship leader was ejected from his bike while negotiating the final corner of the Silverstone circuit and was escorted away by marshals.
The British Moto3 Grand Prix will be contested this Sunday, with a start at 10:30 a.m.
