F3: Pedro Clerot Gains 11 Positions, Shines in Hungary Main Race

July 26, 2026

A Brazilian making his Formula 3 debut season, Pedro Clerot was one of the standout performers in the race that closed the seventh round of the championship, held this Sunday (26) at the Hungaroring circuit in Hungary. After facing issues in the qualifying held on Friday, the Rodin Motorsport driver gained 11 positions over the 24 laps of the day’s race, finishing in 16th place.

Clerot’s weekend began with a solid performance in the sole free practice session of the weekend, but a problem in the car at the start of qualifying left him only 27th on the grid for the two races. In the Sprint, held on Saturday, the driver of car number 17 advanced seven positions to finish 21st. On Sunday, with good pace once again, the Brazilian closed out the event in 16th, moving up 11 places.

“We gained 11 positions today. The pace was strong, so we maximized our result today. It was far from an ideal weekend, but now it’s time to head home for a few days and come back stronger after the break,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

Clerot is delivering a solid campaign in the 2026 season, with three podiums secured across seven rounds. The performance places the first champion in the history of F4 Brazil in tenth place in the championship, totaling 48 points.

Formula 3 takes its vacation break and returns on September 4th, 5th and 6th, with a round at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Italy.
