The NASCAR Brasil Series races this weekend, from June 26 to 28, at the Velocitta Circuit in Mogi Guaçu (SP), marking the fourth stage of the 2026 season. The event opens the second half of the regular championship and carries strategic significance by directly influencing the formation of the new Playoff system, a novelty this year.
After three stages, the standings begin to indicate the 12 drivers who will advance to the Playoff with a 20-point bonus. The leader is Nicolas Costa (#69), with 105 points, followed by Thiago Camilo (#21), with 81, and Gabriel Casagrande (#83), with 79. The group also includes Vitor Genz, Arthur Gama, Cacá Bueno, Victor Andrade, Ricardo Maurício, Denis Navarro, Galid Osman, Tito Giaffone and Murilo Rocha.
Right behind them, Witold Ramasauskas, Ricardo Zonta, Alfredinho Ibiapina, Jorge Martelli, Gui Backes and Bruna Tomaselli remain near the top 12 and still have three rounds to chase a spot in the classification zone.
“With curves of different radii, elevation changes and sections that combine fierce braking with progressive acceleration, the track demands a balance between grip, stability and resistance to wear. The asphalt offers good grip and the extremely technical layout is recognized as one of the most challenging on the calendar,” highlighted Camila Maluf, CEO of the Panamerican Circuit of Pirelli.

A consistency throughout the weekend is expected to be decisive for those seeking important points in this phase of the championship. The Playoff system debuts in NASCAR Brasil in 2026 and will be crucial in determining the title. The phase will unfold at rounds 8 and 9, with no driver being eliminated.

The 12 best at the end of the seventh stage receive 20 extra points, and the top six after the eighth stage earn another 10 points for the final. The success ballast will also be suspended during the Playoffs, increasing balance. Before the Playoff, the seventh stage will be decisive, with 75 points in play distributed among Sprint Race, Race 1 and Race 2, each worth up to 25 points.
In the Challenge, Witold Ramasauskas leads with 92 points, followed by Tito Giaffone (87) and Alfredinho Ibiapina (75). In the Rookie Of The Year race, Bruna Tomaselli and Murilo Rocha share the lead with 65 points.
With three rounds remaining before the Playoff, the Velocitta stage could be decisive in determining the qualifiers and in the fight for the NASCAR Brasil 2026 title.
