The fourth round of the NASCAR Brasil Series 2026, scheduled for June 26-28 at Velocitta Circuit in Mogi Guaçu (SP), will be a special moment for 17-year-old driver Firás Wassim Fahs. A native of Foz do Iguaçu (PR), he will make his debut in the category piloting the No. 3 Chevrolet for Team RC.
Firás began in karting at seven years old and built his base in motorsports by competing in divisions such as Stock Light and Fórmula Delta. In 2025, he claimed the Copa Brasil de Kart OKN, one of the main highlights of his career so far.
The arrival at NASCAR Brasil represents a new step in his evolution. “I started this year in touring cars, competing in Stock Light, and I wanted to race in more categories to gain experience. This opportunity to race in NASCAR Brasil with Team RC arose. I am very happy and motivated for this new challenge,” the driver said.
The Velocitta debut is viewed by him as an important moment in national motorsport. “It means a lot to me. NASCAR Brasil is one of the biggest series in Brazilian motorsport, and being part of this grid is a source of great pride,” he said.
Focused on a rapid adaptation to the new car, he envisions a competitive debut: “The expectation is to adapt as quickly as possible to do a good job and look for a positive result right from the start,” he added.

Off the track, Firás maintains a routine that includes street racing and Muay Thai training. He also cites as inspirations drivers Max Verstappen and Ayrton Senna.
A fan of Arabic cuisine and the Interlagos circuit, the young driver sums up his mindset with the phrase: “I strive to improve every day, with discipline to act and curiosity to learn.”
The event will be broadcast live by SBT on Sunday, starting at 9 a.m., in addition to coverage on ESPN, Disney+, and NASCAR Brasil’s official YouTube channel at @nascarbrasil.
