Pedro Acosta was the fastest rider in the practice session that closed Friday’s activities for the Hungarian Grand Prix, the eighth round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the session held late this morning, the KTM rider posted a best lap time of 1:36.827, claiming the top spot on the day’s times at the Balaton Park Circuit.

Among the weekend stand-ins, Iker Lecuona finished 17th with the Gresini Ducati, while Cal Crutchlow ended 22nd with the LCR Honda. They are substituting for Álex Márquez and Johann Zarco, respectively.
