Gabriele Mini, tenth in the classification from last Friday, will start on the front row at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada, driving for MP Motorsport, after benefiting from the top-ten inversion from the qualifying session.

The front row will also include Rafael Villagómez, Van Amersfoort’s driver and ninth-quickest in the standings. Noel León, from Campos Racing, will begin third, with John Bennett in fourth in a Trident. Joshua Durksen, the Invicta Racing driver, completes the group of the five best on the grid for the weekend’s shortest race.

Among the Brazilians, Emmo Fittipaldi of AIX Racing will start ninth after moving up two positions due to penalties imposed on Rafael Câmara and Alexander Dunne.
