NASCAR Brasil: Ramasauskas Secures Podium Finishes at Interlagos, Keeps the Lead in the Challenge

June 4, 2026

The São Paulo-born Witold Ramasauskas remains firmly at the head of the NASCAR Brasil Challenge championship after a consistent weekend in the third round of the season, contested last Sunday (31) at the traditional Interlagos Circuit, in the southern area of the São Paulo capital.

Racing at home and in front of his fans, the Team RC Chevrolet Camaro #11 driver faced extra challenges during the round due to the so-called “load of success,” which added weight to the car because of his previous results. Nevertheless, Witold managed to stay competitive with NASCAR Brasil’s new RiSE26 model, despite the difficulties in qualifying.

The driver’s strategy was crucial to the weekend’s performance, especially in a schedule marked by variable track conditions and fierce on-track competition.

In the first race of the round, held on a damp asphalt, Ramasauskas delivered a technical performance and managed to advance important positions, crossing the finish line in third place, securing yet another podium for the season.

The good performance repeated itself in the final race of the weekend, where the São Paulo driver returned to the podium and closed the round with another solid showing.

Emocionado com os resultados em casa, Witold destacou a importância do momento na temporada: “Very happy with the results achieved racing at Interlagos, my home and in front of friends, family and fans! We maintain the lead of the Challenge division and our focus remains on the championship. Now it’s time to celebrate and start working for the next round at Velocitta,” Witold commented, reinforcing his position at the head of the Challenge division and maintaining a strong pace in the title fight.

The next round of the competition will be held at the Velocitta Autodromo, on June 27 and 28, in Mogi Guaçu, in the interior of the state of São Paulo.
