F2: Check the Starting Grid for the Canada Round’s Main Race

The Formula 2 season is about to resume, with the main race of the third round in 2026 scheduled for this Sunday, the 24th, at 1:05 PM local time, at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada. After sealing pole position in qualifying, Laurens van Hoepen will lead the field in a Trident car as the weekend’s longer race takes center stage.

Second on the grid is Nikola Tsolov, who enters the race in third place in the standings. The Campos Racing driver will start ahead of Martinius Stenshorne of Rodin Motorsport, who lines up in third, sharing the second row with John Bennett, fourth in the second Trident car. Rafael Câmara of Invicta starts fifth, while Emmo Fittipaldi of AIX starts 11th.

The Canadian round is the third of 14 rounds scheduled for the 2026 season of the FIA Formula 2 Championship. It is also the first time the series visits the circuit located in Montreal.
