The Jeep Commander, a large seven-seat SUV and the first model developed by the brand in Brazil, has just gained its 2026 line with important novelties in design, technology, and equipment. In addition to the improvements, the model arrives on the national market with lower prices in all versions, reinforcing its competitiveness in the segment.
Since its launch in 2021, the Commander has already sold over 70,000 units in the country and consolidated its leadership among seven-seat SUVs. Now, in a special year in which Jeep celebrates 10 years of production in Brazil, the utility vehicle receives the largest design update since its debut.
Renovated Visual and More Sophistication
The 2026 line presents new full LED headlights with a redesigned signature, a front grille with the traditional seven slots, a remodeled front bumper, and continuous LED taillights, which reinforce the model’s premium identity. New exclusive wheels equip all versions, guaranteeing an extra touch of sportiness.
Inside, the Commander has gained new finish details in all versions and unprecedented equipment, such as the 360° camera in the Overland and Blackhawk versions. Another highlight is the new rotary shifter, which replaces the traditional lever with a rotary selector in the Overland diesel and Blackhawk Hurricane versions, elevating the level of comfort and modernity.
State-of-the-Art Technology and Safety
All versions come equipped with a semi-autonomous driving package (ADAS) as standard, the most complete in the country. Among the features are adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistant, cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and fatigue detector.
The 10.1″ multimedia center with integrated Alexa and the 10.25″ digital instrument cluster are also part of the list, along with the Adventure Intelligence Plus system from the Limited version onwards.
Diversity of Engines and Jeep DNA
The 2026 Commander continues to offer three engine options:
-
T270 1.3 turboflex (176 hp and 270 Nm) with a six-speed automatic transmission and 4×2 traction;
-
Multijet 2.2 turbodiesel (200 hp and 450 Nm) with a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction;
-
Hurricane 2.0T (272 hp and 400 Nm), also with a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 traction, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds.
The Blackhawk Hurricane version also adds the Performance Pages, which display data such as turbine pressure, torque, and G-force in real-time.
More Accessible Prices
One of the most striking points of the 2026 line is the reduction in prices in all versions, reinforcing the proposal to offer sophistication, technology, and off-road capability at a more competitive cost:
-
Longitude T270 – R$ 220,990 (reduction of R$ 19,000)
-
Limited T270 – R$ 246,990 (reduction of R$ 11,000)
-
Overland T270 – R$ 273,990 (reduction of R$ 7,000)

Reference among Large SUVs
With a five-year warranty and over 40 exclusive accessories, the new Jeep Commander 2026 reinforces its positioning as a reference in sophistication, performance, and versatility among seven-seat SUVs in Brazil.
According to Hugo Domingues, vice president of Jeep for South America, “the Commander is a unique vehicle, differentiated from all its competitors. With more technology, renovated design, and even more competitive prices, we are sure that it will continue to be a great success in the country.”
