January 7, 2026

The Paraibano Valdeno Brito closed the 2025 NASCAR Brasil season this Sunday (7th) at the Autodromo de Interlagos in São Paulo (SP). The R.Mattheis team driver completed the weekend’s main race, held this afternoon, with a ninth-place finish in his class. The owner of car number 77 celebrated the opportunity to compete in the category.

Valdeno Brito

“It was good to be in NASCAR Brasil, as I love racing. It was a good experience. I’m passionate about racing and in any category I’m in, I feel good. Today the car broke down near the finish line in the first race and then the performance wasn’t the same. But the experience is worth it and we’ll plan for the next season,” said Valdeno.

“I want to thank my supporters, SETAI Grupo GP, a construction company that believes a lot in sports, and TSR Investimentos. Without them, I wouldn’t be here,” added Valdeno Brito.

Valdeno finishes the NASCAR Brasil season, to which he dedicated himself exclusively to Special Edition, with a podium finish with a third place obtained in the main race of the second stage, held at Velocitta.

The NASCAR Brasil season will begin on March 15, 2026, at a location to be determined.
