Making his debut in the 2025 NASCAR Brasil season, Tito Giaffone was honored at the season’s closing ceremony by being elected as the rookie driver of the championship. The driver of car number 15 finished third in the Challenge category on Sunday and celebrated his evolution throughout his first season in the touring cars.
“At the beginning of the championship, our concern was just to evolve. With each stage, we gained confidence and kept getting better, so I think the balance of the season is excellent for my first year. It was a lot of learning, and all of this I will take with me for the rest of my life,” says Tito, who competes for Full Time and has the support of PPG.
Tito also finished the Special Edition championship in fourth place and valued the special moments of the season, such as achieving the overall pole position and winning the Challenge at Velocitta, the venue of the penultimate stage of the year.
“Finishing with this third place in the last race and fourth place in the Special Edition was positive for me. After I made the overall pole and won at Velocitta, of course, I thought I could always try to win, but I have to look on the bright side: there I managed to get a lap in qualy and here I didn’t and finished fourth. These things happen, and it’s necessary to put my head in the right place, keep my feet on the ground, and appreciate each positive result we had,” says Tito.
The 2026 NASCAR Brasil season will begin on March 15, with the location yet to be defined.
