Rafael Câmara Secures Top-Five Finish at Silverstone, Remains Among F2 Leaders

Rafael Câmara, a Brazilian driver who defends Invicta Racing in Formula 2, remains in third place in the championship after the seventh round of the 2026 season at the Silverstone Circuit in England. On Sunday (the 5th), the driver completed the main race of the event in fifth position, staying among the leaders in the standings.

The driver, who clinched pole position on Friday, and finished the Sprint on Saturday in tenth place, fought for a podium spot throughout Sunday. The reigning Formula 3 champion leaned on a strategy of starting on soft tires and switching to the harder compounds early in the race, securing yet another top-5 finish.

Having already won a race this season, achieved in Barcelona, Spain, Câmara also has three podiums, five top-5 finishes, 11 appearances inside the top ten, and three pole positions. With this performance, the Ferrari Driver Academy member has accumulated 94 points after the first half of the season.

The 2026 Formula 2 season will resume in two weeks, on July 17, 18 and 19, with the eighth round of the championship scheduled at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
