Jorge Martín remains at the head of the MotoGP standings after the Aragón Grand Prix, the 13th round of the 2026 season. The Aprilia rider reached 256 points with the fifth-place finish secured this Sunday (the 30th) at MotorLand, in Spain, but saw Marc Márquez, the race winner, and Marco Bezzecchi, his teammate, reduce the gap to less than 25 points.
Márquez, who won the Sprint and the main race in Aragón, reached 237 points and is only 19 behind Martín, taking the runner-up spot. Bezzecchi, now third, has 232 and is 24 points behind the lead. Fabio Di Giannantonio is now fourth with 208, while Ai Ogura, who did not race this weekend, closes the top five with 203.
Second place in Sunday’s race, Pedro Acosta sits sixth with 189, surpassing Raúl Fernández, who retired from the morning’s race and is now seventh with 186. Francesco Bagnaia, on 143, Álex Márquez, with 128, and Fermín Aldeguer, on 90, complete the top ten. Diogo Moreira sits in 14th place in the standings with 64 points.
The MotoGP season will resume on September 13, with the San Marino Grand Prix slated for the Misano circuit in Italy.
