The Spanish rider David Almansa secured pole position on Saturday (the 29th) for the Aragón Grand Prix, the 13th round of the 2026 Moto3 season. In the final phase of qualifying held this morning at MotorLand, in Spain, the Intact GP rider clocked 1:56.347 on his lone lap to take the top spot for Sunday’s race.
The second position on the grid went to Marco Morelli, a rider for Aspar who ended up 0.033 seconds behind Almansa. Championship leader and Morelli’s teammate, Máximo Quiles, completes the first row in third. Matteo Bertelle, of MTA, starts fourth, followed by Adrián Cruces, in fifth for CIP, and Brian Uriarte, sixth with Ajo.

Álvaro Carpe, the rider defending Ajo, starts seventh, opening a third row that also includes Adrián Fernández of Leopard Racing and Valentín Perrone of Tech3. Jesús Ríos starts from tenth on a Snipers-prepared bike, while Guido Pini of Leopard Racing lines up 11th. The group of the top 12 is completed by Rico Salmela of Tech3.
Moto3 will contest the Aragón Grand Prix this Sunday (30), with the race starting at 6:00 a.m.
