For the upcoming Lone Star Le Mans at Circuit of The Americas, the No. 69 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 EVO is set to wear a livery that harks back to the BMW E9 3.0 CSL Levi’s machine from the 1970s.
Unveiled on Wednesday, the Anthony McIntosh-led effort — notable for featuring a different design for its LMGT3 entry in each of the eight World Endurance Championship races this season — will showcase the white-and-red palette associated with Levi’s, the American apparel brand that previously competed in the European Touring Car Championship and in Germany’s domestic series.
McIntosh will share driving duties with Parker Thompson and BMW factory driver Dan Harper, who currently rank fifth in their class but occupy third in the team’s order, behind the No. 33 TF Sport Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R and the No. 91 Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo.
