The Formula 2 season continues this weekend with the Hungarian stage, a race scheduled to take place at the Hungaroring circuit. The event will mark the tenth double round of the championship and is expected to further narrow the competition for the title of the most important category leading to Formula 1.
After nine stages, the leadership belongs to Leonardo Fornaroli, who has 125 points, just three more than Richard Verschoor, the vice-leader with 122 points. Jak Crawford occupies the third position in the ranking with 116 points, followed by Alexander Dunne, who is fourth with 114 points. The group of the top five also includes Luke Browning, who has 113 points.
The Formula 2 schedule in Hungary will begin on Friday (1st) with the only free practice of the weekend and the qualification that will determine the starting positions for the two races. Saturday at Hungaroring will be dedicated to the Sprint, which starts at 9:15 am, while Sunday will feature the main race at 5:00 am. The BandSports channel will broadcast the stage live.
