Gabriel Casagrande Wins Third Consecutive NASCAR Brasil Special Edition Championship at Interlagos Speedway

January 11, 2026

Gabriel Casagrande, the driver who defends MX Vogel in the NASCAR Brasil, achieved another title in his career this Sunday (7), by securing his third Special Edition title with a second-place finish in the final race of the 2025 season, held at the Interlagos Autodrome in São Paulo (SP). The Paraná native had won the first qualifying race, held on Saturday, and conquered his second consecutive title in the category.

The Special Edition consisted of the last three stages of the championship, held in Curvelo, Velocitta, and Interlagos. Casagrande had one of the strongest performances in the tournament, with five victories and eight finishes among the top five. The owner of car number 83 celebrated the championship win.

“Every achievement must be celebrated. Because it’s a championship with fewer races, some people might belittle it, but it’s a championship where everyone starts on an equal footing, and being modest, our car was very good in all stages of the Special Edition. In nine races, we won five times, in addition to many podiums, and we only finished outside the top-5 in one race,” said Casagrande.

“I’m happy and satisfied with the team’s work, and this gives us encouragement for 2026. There will be restructuring in the team, but I’ll continue with Vogel in 2026 in the NASCAR Brasil with a new car. I’m excited and hope we can start in the best way and finish the year even better,” completes Gabriel Casagrande, who has the sponsorships of Baterias Júpiter, Axalta, STP, Cresol, OnPetro, Vonder, Atacadão Pneus, Panter, and RP Info.

After the final stage of the NASCAR Brasil, Casagrande turns his attention to the last double round of the Stock Car, scheduled for December 13 and 14.
