FIA WEC: Nielsen extends multi-year contract with Ferrari team

December 6, 2025

Nicklas Nielsen is set to continue his journey with Ferrari in the Endurance World Championship. The competitor has signed a multi-year extension with the Maranello-based team, becoming the latest of nine drivers to commit to the team.

Currently 28 years old, he is part of Ferrari’s factory team and competes in the Hypercar class, with his most notable achievement being the victory in the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans alongside Antonio Fuoco and Miguel Molina.

In 2019, he made his debut in the WEC and for two consecutive years, he won the GTE-Am class title with AF Corse.

“Continuing to be part of Ferrari’s official driver lineup is a source of pride and a great responsibility for me. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of achieving victories that I will never forget, especially the win at Le Mans in 2024, as well as the opportunity to continue improving as a driver,” he said.

“With great determination, I thank Ferrari and look to the future with the hope of continuing to win races and titles together, representing the prancing horse,” he added.

The previous extension of Nielsen’s contract with Ferrari occurred at the end of the 2023 season.
