The driver representing Rodin Motorsport, Pedro Clerot, will close the 2026 Formula 3 season this weekend as the Spanish round takes place at the new Madrid circuit. Clerot aims to end the year with strong results and is targeting a top-10 finish in the championship at a track where the category has already competed three weeks earlier.
The Formula 3 series was responsible for two days of testing in Madring, during which Clerot logged 96 laps aboard Rodin’s car. Fresh off a round in Monza where he showed considerable pace, the inaugural F4 Brasil champion seeks to replicate his performance from last week and convert it into points in this final event.
“A few weeks ago we completed two days of testing at Madring. Our program went very positively, which gives me confidence for this weekend’s races,” Clerot said, highlighting some features of the newest circuit on the Formula 3 calendar.
“I really liked the track, which has characteristics of different circuits, like Monaco, but also of Jeddah and Baku. It was great to drive and to push the limit; we get very close to the wall. I found the layout fantastic,” added Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.
Unlike the rest of the season, the Madrid round will feature three races. Accordingly, the schedule is somewhat different: Friday will host the lone free practice and the qualifying session. Saturday will feature the Sprint at 6:05 and Race 2 at 13:00. Sunday will host the third race to close the championship, at 04:45. F1TV will broadcast all on-track activities.
