F3: Fefo Barrichello Announced by AIX for Monza Round and 2026 Season

November 15, 2025

On Friday (29), AIX Racing announced the hiring of Fernando Barrichello, also known as Fefo, to compete in the final stage of Formula 3, scheduled for next weekend at the Monza National Autodrome in Italy. The agreement, revealed on social media, is also valid for the entire 2026 season of the category.

Fefo has been competing in the Euroformula Open season, where he has accumulated one victory and currently occupies fifth place in the championship. The driver began his career in single-seaters in F4 Brazil in 2022 and passed through F4 Spain before migrating to Euroformula Open, still in 2024, when he finished third in the championship.

“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity. It was a lot of hard work to get to this moment. I’m excited to join AIX Racing and fight for great goals. What an honor to be able to represent Brazil in something so big. Let’s go all out,” said Fefo Barrichello.

“We are very excited to welcome Fernando to our team starting from Monza. We will put him in the spotlight, but the experience will be invaluable for his preparation for 2026. I believe we can develop Fernando even further and we look forward to his valuable contribution to the team,” said Kenny Kirwan, head of AIX Racing in F3.

The announcement of Fefo Barrichello comes just one day after another Brazilian confirmation on the grid: Pedro Clerot, currently on the FRECA grid, has agreed with a team in the category, still to be revealed by the driver, for next year.
