December 11, 2025

The 2025 Formula 3 champion, Rafael Câmara, had his first official activity in Formula 2 on Wednesday (10th), when the category opened the collective test session at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi. The Invicta driver completed 74 laps throughout the day and recorded the second-best time, just 0.066 seconds away from the fastest mark.

Câmara’s fastest time of the day came in the last of the two sessions, when he completed 33 laps and set a time of 1:37.269 in his best lap. In the morning, the Brazilian, who is part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, completed 41 laps and recorded the tenth-best mark.

“It was my first time in a Formula 2 car. I had a good first impression with the car. I did some laps and got more and more used to it. With each lap, I felt more comfortable,” said Câmara, shortly after the end of the day’s activities at the circuit located in the United Arab Emirates.

The Formula 2 activities at Yas Marina will continue on Thursday (11th), with two more sessions scheduled to take place.
