F2 Abu Dhabi Sprint Race Result: Lindblad Secures Victory, Holds Off Durksen’s Charge

December 9, 2025

Arvid Lindblad won the Sprint of the last stage of the 2025 Formula 2 season, held at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi, this past Saturday (6). The Campos Racing driver, who will be racing for Racing Bulls in Formula 1 in 2026, started from pole position and maintained the lead throughout the 23 laps, securing his third victory of the year.

The second position went to Joshua Durksen, driver of AIX Racing, who attempted to close the gap in the final laps on Lindblad, but was unable to overtake him. The podium also included Nikola Tsolov, who with another Campos Racing car completed the competition in third place. Dino Beganovic, from Hitech, finished fourth, while Oliver Goethe, from MP Motorsport, finished fifth.

Jak Crawford, from DAMS, finished the race in sixth place, just ahead of Victor Martins, seventh with ART Grand Prix. Alexander Dunne completed the points zone with Rodin, while Gabriele Mini, from Prema, finished ninth. The top ten in the United Arab Emirates also included Roman Stanek, from Invicta.

The Virtual Safety Car was deployed on the eighth lap after John Bennett’s engine, from Van Amersfoort, experienced problems. A lap later, the race resumed at a competitive pace. On lap 20, Victor Martins and Jak Crawford made contact, leaving debris on the track, and the Virtual Safety Car was deployed again.

The race that closes the 2025 Formula 2 season is scheduled for 6:15 AM this Sunday.
