Rafael Câmara took a significant step in his preparation for a potential Formula 1 debut in 2027. On Tuesday (the 28th), the Brazilian took part in a test at Fiorano with Ferrari.
On the Italian team’s private track, the driver participated in a Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) test that had already been scheduled. Furthermore, according to information from the AutoRacer portal, Câmara was the only one on the track throughout the day.
Currently competing in Formula 2 and a member of Ferrari’s Driver Academy, the 2025 Formula 3 champion has found himself at the center of driver market rumors for the coming year.
Haas has been cited as one of the teams expected to land Rafael as early as 2027 in F1, but the battle is tight with Leonardo Fornaroli, the current F2 champion and McLaren’s current reserve. Another possibility would be Cadillac.
