Gabriel Bortoleto and Felipe Drugovich have cemented their friendship both on and off the track. The Formula 1 and Formula E drivers, respectively, exchanged helmets and captured the moment on Friday (27).
A photo of the duo was posted on social media, where they are seen holding each other’s helmets. On the helmet given by the Audi F1 driver to his friend, a message can be seen written on top: “To my brother Drugo. Thank you for the friendship and advice always. With affection, Gabriel).
Meanwhile, on the helmet held by Bortoleto, the Andretti FE competitor also left a message and his signature. Additionally, he shared the photo on his social media and wrote “after about 10 years, the helmet exchange finally happened.”
Bortoleto will take to the track next week with the start of the 2026 Formula 1 season at the Australian GP. The next Formula E event for Drugovich is on March 21 with the Madrid ePrix.
