Bezzecchi Tops FP2 for Dutch GP With Fastest Time

June 26, 2026

Marco Bezzecchi posted the fastest time in the final practice session of Friday (the 26th) for the Dutch Grand Prix, the 10th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the session at the Assen circuit, the Aprilia rider, who had already led the morning’s first practice, clocked a best lap of 1:31.123, a time no rival could beat.

Raúl Fernández, riding for Trackhouse’s Aprilia, claimed second place, finishing 0.177 seconds behind Bezzecchi. Pedro Acosta, on a KTM, ended the session in third, followed by Ai Ogura, who placed fourth on the other Trackhouse machine. The top five was completed by Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.

Marc Márquez, winner of the last two races, took sixth on a Ducati, with Fabio Di Giannantonio next in seventh aboard VR46’s Ducati. Enea Bastianini, on a Tech3 KTM, was eighth, while Jorge Martín, racing for Aprilia, finished ninth. Álex Márquez, on a Gresini Ducati, completed the top ten. Diogo Moreira, the Brazilian rider defending LCR Honda, finished 13th.

The session experienced a red flag with just over three minutes remaining after Martín crashed; Álex Márquez then also went down, forcing the interruption, from which the session resumed shortly afterward.

MotoGP action continues on Saturday (27) with the morning warm‑up at 5:10, followed by qualifying from 5:50. The Sprint race is planned later in the day at 10:00. The Dutch Grand Prix itself will take place on Sunday starting at 9:00.
