Audi Brazil has announced the start of pre-sales for the new Q5 in the country, available in both SUV and Sportback body styles. The third generation of the model is more powerful and efficient, with unprecedented equipment and the new global visual identity of the four-ring brand. Additionally, the model is the first SUV from the manufacturer and the second in Brazil to utilize the latest PPC (Premium Platform for Combustion Vehicles) platform. The new Q5 generation will be available from October in the Advanced quattro version, with a network of over 40 dealerships across the country. The first exclusive batch, with a limited quantity, will have a special condition until the end of September for the SUV body style, priced at R$ 399,990.00, while the Sportback body style will start at R$ 429,990.00.

“The new Q5 opens a new chapter in the history of premium utilities. The model is highly technological and combines the latest PPC with the renowned quattro traction and the concept of a digital stage, creating a luxurious atmosphere and a fully immersive driving experience,” highlights Gerold Pillekamp, Head of Marketing and Communication at Audi Brazil.

“In 2025, we began the complete renovation of Audi Brazil’s vehicle portfolio, and the new Q5 arrives to conclude this offensive of launches. Over the years, the Q5 has established itself as one of the most desirable medium-sized luxury utilities in the market, and its new generation will continue this success trajectory,” affirms Renato Celiberti, Head of Sales at Audi Brazil.

“The Audi Q5 is one of our most desired and sold SUVs across several generations. The new model features the latest generation of combustion engines, highly efficient, and unprecedented comfort, safety, and technology equipment. Certainly, the new Audi Q5, with its versatility and dynamic design, will exceed the expectations of current and future customers,” affirms Marcos Quaresma, Head of Product at Audi Brazil.

Authentic and contemporary design

The new Audi Q5 embodies the aesthetics of the brand’s new design language. The straight lines have been softened, giving way to more fluid and timeless lines. This new visual architecture, which debuted in Brazil with the Q6 e-tron and is also present in the new A5 and A6 e-tron, finds a unique synergy in this new Q5 generation that pleases the senses from the first contact.

The front features narrower headlights, generous vertical air intakes with a matte gray finish, and the traditional single-frame grille with the new 2D Audi rings, as well as a honeycomb internal arrangement with an unprecedented layout of its elements.

On the side, a prominent ridge runs along the southern portion of the doors until it flows into the rear wheel arches, creating a sensation of constant movement, while chrome trims frame the windows and the roof rack.

Finally, the rear features a raised belt line that facilitates access to the trunk, Full-LED interconnected taillights with dynamic turn signals, a black finish on the bumper, and rectangular exhaust outlets. A visual that combines subtlety and high seductive power.

The curtains rise: the new Digital Stage

Inside, the model’s cabin adopts the concept of a digital stage, like the brand’s recent launches. The refinement and sophistication are evident in the noble coverings and soft textures to the touch in the interior, which was meticulously polished to provide a luxury experience without excesses and in the smallest details.

Technology allied with ergonomics guides the distribution of elements throughout the cabin, which features two parallel screens – the 14.5-inch MMI-touch display with an integrated navigator and the 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit digital instrument panel. There are different driving modes via the Audi Drive Select, and comfort on board is guaranteed by the comfort seats with reinforced side supports, electric adjustments for the driver and passenger, electric lumbar support with four-way adjustments, and a central armrest with inclination adjustment.

Elevated sportiness – literally

The new Audi Q5 will arrive in Brazil in the Advanced quattro version and becomes even more powerful and efficient thanks to the renowned EA 888, 2.0 TFSI engine, which in its new evo5 generation offers increased power to 272 horsepower (compared to 265 horsepower in the previous generation) between 5,000 rpm and 6,500 rpm, and 400 Nm of torque (compared to 370 Nm in the previous generation) between 1,600 rpm and 4,500 rpm.

The powertrain is governed by the seven-speed S Tronic transmission and synchronized with the axles by the quattro traction system with ultra technology, which features a multi-disc clutch with an integrated decoupler and a maximum torque distribution ratio of 100% (front) and up to 50% (rear).

Thus, the mechanical set’s orchestral tuning provides the driver with a distinct and incomparable driving dynamics, with torque released from low revs to ensure agility and smooth running in urban stretches. On highways, the vehicle demonstrates its more vigorous behavior and responds promptly to the accelerator pedal for safe overtaking, showcasing extreme safety in curves, high speeds, and offering a balanced combination of performance and efficiency.

Extensive list of standard equipment

The new Audi Q5 generation is generous in terms of equipment, with a long list of standard items in the Advanced version. In visual terms, the model features elements that leave the design sober and sophisticated, with highlights including the 2D Audi rings, bright finish on the two rectangular exhaust outlets, chrome trims on the windows and roof rack, and the front grille and air intakes in the color Cinza Scandium. The vehicle comes with new 20-inch wheels, with a “five-arm” design, matte gray finish, and 255/45 tires.

Among the comfort and convenience items are automatic three-zone air conditioning; front seats with lumbar support and electric adjustments; Ambient Light package plus with 30 available colors; electric opening and closing of the trunk lid; round, multifunctional steering wheel with paddle-shifts and chrome-plated items.

In terms of safety and technology equipment, highlights include driver assistance systems, such as Lane Departure Warning; Parking Assistant (with front and rear sensors); Side Assist and Front Turn Assist; Audi Pre Sense front (emergency braking); and Traffic Assist.

There is also Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC); Driver Attention and Fatigue Detector; LED Pro taillights with dynamic turn signals; and seven airbags (front, front side, curtain, and central interaction between the front seats).

The infotainment system consists of the 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus and the 14.5-inch Audi MMI display with navigation system. The audio experience is guaranteed by the Audi Sound System with 10 speakers and 180W power. There is wireless connection with cell phones via the Audi Smartphone Interface and Audi Phone box light with wireless charging function.
