BAIC introduces to the Brazilian market the BAIC ARCFOX T1, the first model in the ARCFOX line available in the country. The launch is part of the group’s expansion strategy in Brazil and arrives with a commercial and after-sales structure developed to support the customer experience across different regions of the national territory.
Founded in 1958, in Beijing, the BAIC Group is one of China’s leading automotive conglomerates, operating in more than 140 countries and having sold over 40 million vehicles throughout its history. In Brazil, the company works to combine its scale and global experience with an operation that is close to the needs of local consumers.

The Brazilian commercial structure envisions a network of 50 dealerships, with presence in different regions of the country and a showroom standard dedicated to the BAIC brand featuring BAIC and ARCFOX product lines. The network expansion is accompanied by a after-sales strategy aimed at offering personalized support to customers throughout the vehicle ownership journey, including parts availability, assistance in unforeseen situations, and technical training to attend electrified models.
National Network and After-Sales Structure
BAIC’s after-sales operation features planned coverage of nearly 100% of critical parts and an operational warehouse dedicated in Itajaí (SC), in a logistical partnership with FOTON. The structure was designed to support the network’s supply and contribute to the availability of essential components for customer service.

The brand also offers 24/7 assistance, with guidance in case of unforeseen events and dispatch of services such as roadside assistance and towing, according to the program’s terms. To complement the customer relationship, BAIC plans to provide BAIC Concierge, with personalized voice and WhatsApp support, request triage and follow-up of referrals.

The initial after-sales network includes tooling specifically for electrified vehicles, including safety gear for high-voltage systems and diagnostic tools. Technician training covers topics such as electronic diagnostics, battery, charging, safety, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and suspension.
BAIC ARCFOX T1: Electric Mobility for Everyday Life
The BAIC ARCFOX T1 arrives in Brazil in PRO and MAX versions, combining exterior dimensions of a compact crossover, an elevated driving position, and an interior layout designed for urban routines.
The electric powertrain delivers 70 kW of output and a maximum torque of 176 Nm. The torque delivery supports consistent responses in everyday driving, while the flat-wire winding technology enhances energy efficiency, keeps operation quiet, and provides a more direct response. The overall aim is a practical and comfortable driving experience, especially for urban trips.

The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, with a capacity of 42.3 kWh, provides up to 310 km of range on the WLTC cycle and 283 km under Inmetro’s PBEV standard. With DC charging up to 89 kW at fast-charging stations, the battery can move from 30% to 80% in about 25 minutes, while full charging on alternating current up to 6.6 kW takes up to eight hours, depending on charging conditions. The model also features battery pre-conditioning and V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) functions, enabling power supply to compatible equipment or charging another vehicle.
Design, Dimensions and Versatility
The design of the BAIC ARCFOX T1 follows a visual language inspired by the ARCFOX 77° concept, with minimalist lines in proportions that balance presence and dynamism.

The model measures 4,337 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,572 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,770 mm. These dimensions help create a roomy interior and support the crossover’s urban mobility focus. The wheelbase favors interior space for occupants, while the cabin layout aims to combine comfort and practicality.
At the rear, the trunk offers about 459 liters of capacity. With the second row seats folded, cargo volume can reach up to 1,352 liters, expanding the ability to carry luggage and larger items. The cabin also features several storage compartments.
Another highlight is the panoramic roof of 2.34 m² in the MAX version. The panel was designed to increase the amount of natural light and includes thermal insulation solutions and an electric shade.
The model is available in four exterior colors — Eclipse Grey, Polar White, Aurora Silver, Electric Silver — and two interior finish combinations: black with gold accents or black with a soft white.
Versions also differ by wheels. The PRO configuration uses 17″ steel wheels with decorative hubcaps, while the MAX features 18″ alloy wheels.
Onboard Technology and Driving Aid
The ARCFOX T1 pairs an 8.8″ instrument cluster with a 15.6″ multimedia system located at the center of the dash. The interior layout includes an ultra-slim floating console and a horizontal design, aiming to organize controls and enhance the sense of space inside the cabin.
One of the main standard tech features across all versions is the 540° Panoramic View camera, a system that combines a 360° surround view with a 180° transparent chassis view. This technology assists in identifying obstacles and evaluating available space during maneuvers, offering multiple perspectives of the surroundings and the area beneath the vehicle.
The model also includes the EZT low-speed steering assist, which uses active braking to ease maneuvers in tight curves. This feature can reduce the turning radius by approximately 30 cm, aiding movement in restricted spaces.
In the MAX version, the driving assistance package includes autonomous emergency braking (AEB), forward collision warning (FCW), adaptive cruise control with Stop-and-Go (ACC), lane-centering assistance (ICA), traffic jam assist (TJA), pedestrian collision warning (PCW) and lane departure warning (LDW).
The MAX version also includes automatic parking assist (APA), assistance for passing through narrow spaces, and a reverse-movement assist with path memory.
Comfort and Cabin Utilization
The BAIC ARCFOX T1 interior blends premium finishes with space optimization to enhance onboard comfort and practicality. The dashboard and door panels feature premium microfibre with a suede-like feel, while cabin materials are designed to control odors and reduce the presence of certain chemicals, contributing to a more pleasant internal environment.
The seats combine eco-leather upholstery, 3D detailing, and seven layers of cushioning, features that contribute to added comfort. Both versions include electric adjustment and heating for the driver’s seat, while the MAX also offers heating for the front passenger seat and adds ventilation and memory functions.
The versatility extends to the seating arrangement. The front seats can recline to nearly flat, expanding cabin versatility and providing greater comfort for breaks. In the second row, the backrests recline up to 28°, and legroom reaches up to 903 mm, promoting passenger comfort.
The MAX version also includes a power-operated trunk lid and exterior mirrors with power-folding. The PRO trim retains the key comfort and technology features, with equipment differences relative to the top-spec variant.
Internal materials extend to the dashboard and door panels, which include microfibre coatings with a suede-like appearance, along with materials and processes designed to control odors and reduce the presence of certain substances.
The suspension combines a MacPherson front setup with aluminum components and a rear torsion beam. The development included more than 8,000 kilometers of testing over four months and the evaluation of 192 adjustment parameters, focusing on balancing comfort, stability, and dynamic behavior.
Battery Structure and Protection
The BAIC ARCFOX T1 features a highly safe structure, with the body built from high-strength steel elements designed to contribute to energy absorption in the event of a collision. The structural assembly also includes a subframe developed to protect occupants and the battery.
The battery uses the Lumina Battery platform and protective coating aimed at corrosion resistance and debris projection, in addition to thermal insulation layers. The battery also features an isolation and thermal management system designed to help limit heat propagation and reduce risks associated with thermal events.
These solutions integrate the protective measures for the electric system and the vehicle structure, with a focus on battery integrity and occupant safety.
BAIC Expansion in Brazil
The arrival of the ARCFOX T1 is part of a long-term plan to consolidate BAIC’s presence in the Brazilian market. The company foresees expanding its network to 150 dealerships by the end of 2027, in addition to gradually broadening its vehicle portfolio. The strategy is supported by developing a customer service and after-sales structure that accompanies the introduction of its electrified models, combining the group’s global experience with an operation aligned to the needs of Brazilian consumers.
The BAIC ARCFOX T1 will be offered in PRO and MAX versions, with deliveries starting on November 11, 2026 across the country.
